Perspective (noun; English) — the view from a given position; the way distance and height change what can be seen.
I used to love flying in the window seat, and I did for years. I wanted to see the sunlight dance across the clouds, rivers coiling like snakes, coastlines made of ice, cities like intricate miniature models or nothing but a thick blanket of cloud. All the things you only get to look at from up there. I fly less now, but when I get the seat I still take the picture.
